The Gucci x adidas Gazelle Collection Just Got More Wearable

When Gucci dropped its initial collaboration with adidas earlier this year, the colours used were pretty bright and bold. Although was to be expected from Michele’s take on the House of Gucci, it did leave sneaker fans a little unsure of whether they should be splashing the cash on a hard-to-style shoe. Now, as the terrace trend continues into the latter half of the year, Gucci and the Three Stripes have revisited their footwear offering, and now three (more wearable) Gucci x adidas Gazelle colourways will form part of their autumn/winter offering.

First up, our favourite pair yet has got to be the “White/Oatmeal” leather offering, which comes accented with creamy-beige suede for a luxurious look and feel. With the Three Stripes done up in Gucci house colours, and a gum sole that adds to the retro look and feel, these Gazelles are as clean as they come!

Next, we haven’t seen the back of monogrammed pairs just yet, as the second pair arrives decked out in Gucci’s square G logo. Boasting a suede upper, this Gucci Motif “Brown Suede” Gazelle may look loud, but the neutral colour scheme helps to tone it down. Black leather dresses the Stripes and heel tabs, and gold branded details complete the super-retro look.

Finally, it looks like we should be getting a “Black/Oatmeal” pair, too. Following a similar construction to the white, this pair starts off with a black leather base and sees the same “Oatmeal” suede dress the toes, vamps and eyestay plackets. Once again, gold branded details are left to shine, and red and green shades dress the Three Stripes and heel tabs.
