Last year, the Air Force 1, the Air Max 95, and the Air Presto all got South Korea-inspired colourways, and this year, the Beaverton brand will be bringing this aesthetic to the aptly named Nike Dunk Low "South Korea". A country that has played a major role in the sneaker and streetwear scenes for the past few decades, this homage is a definite must-cop!
A nod to the Asian country's Taegukgi flag, the "South Korea" features a full leather construction. Working on top of a clean white base, matte black panels grace the heel, lacing system, and toebox, while mismatched tones make their way across both pairs. For instance, the right pair has red accents at the heel and blue Nike Swooshes, while the left one inverts everything for a unique look.
Down below, you'll find a crisp white midsole, while the heels are finely embroidered with "Nike" in Korean hangul. To round it all off, the flag is proudly adorned on the tongues of each shoe, finalising the patriotic Dunk design.
The Nike Dunk Low SP "South Korea" might be exclusive to the country, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take a closer look at the Nike Dunk Low "Laser Orange"!
