Venezia FC Proves Once Again Why It Has the Best Kits in Football

Honestly, they just can't keep getting away with it. As if last week's Pre-Match number wasn't enough, Venezia FC has now returned to give us a preview of its brand new 2023/24 home kit addition. Over the past few years, the Venice side has proven it's arguably one of the most fashion-focused teams on the planet, and now it looks like it's ready to solidify its claim for the number one spot.

The kit itself is inspired by the famed Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa. Scarpa was known for his delicate combination of both modernism and historicism in his work, evidently encouraging Venezia FC's latest effort. At first appearance, this kit doesn't exactly fit today's traditional mould. Instead of the classic crewneck or v-neck opening we're used to seeing, a single-button Mandarin collar is featured, offering a dose of retro style.

The majority of the kit's exterior flaunts a deep black hue, only to be contrasted and complimented by gold detailing, orange and green stripes and “Città di Venezia” typography. Logos are all stacked in a totem pole-like fashion on the left side of the chest, each bearing a shiny gold finish. As it stands, the new Venezia FC 2023/24 Kappa kit is currently available to purchase on the club's website, but don't be surprised if it sells out soon!
