The New Balance 1890 "Brown Blue" arrives as part of the Action Bronson BAKLAVA collaboration. Its upper combines mesh with synthetic overlays, bringing brown and blue together in a warm, contrasting palette, while reflective details shift its appearance under changing light. Perforations run across the toe box and sides, while a rubberised toecap wraps the front. BAKLAVA and New Balance branding sit on the padded tongue, with a moulded N logo on the lateral side and an NB logo at the rear. The silhouette draws on two archival New Balance models, pairing the sole unit of the 2002 with an upper inspired by the 890v2/v3 mesh runner. ABZORB cushioning runs through the full midsole and gives the design its pronounced volumes above a rubber outsole. Rope laces complete the look, and the 1890 suits light city use throughout the day.
