Marking a first for the Virgil Abloh Archive, the team is working with Nike to revive one of Virgil's first editions of the Air Jordan 1. This VAA x Air Jordan 1 High OG 2025 pays homage to a sample pair revealed by Abloh in 2020, later displayed at the ICA Boston exhibit the following year. Also dubbed the "Alaska" Off-White AJ1, this pair is in fact different from the previous 2018 version.
The limited-edition sneaker features an all-white makeover crafted in premium leather with exposed foam layers on the vamp, quarter, and collars. This intentional material execution makes for a flawless vintage transformation, shifting away from what was once a clean white-on-white palette similar to the “REVEALING” concept of “THE TEN” collection in 2017. An oversized Swoosh graces the lateral sidewall, stitched onto the dangling forefoot overlay and leather foxing to fulfil its deconstructed aesthetic. The grey Jordan Wings emblem adorns the ankle, offset by an “85” label on the interior. Notable text placements like the “AIR” on the midsole, “SHOELACES” on the shoe strings, and co-branded labels on the medial section stay true to form.
Set to be one of the most anticipated drops in 2026, you can find out where to get your hands on the exclusive Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 High OG 2026 by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
