Hot on the heels of its 35th anniversary, Union Los Angeles reunites with Jordan Brand for an exclusive Air Jordan 1 High collaboration. This highly anticipated release sees owner Chris Gibbs and the Los Angeles-based label utilise the winning formula from ‘18, fueling hype among fans and collectors. The Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG SP “Chicago Shadow” combines the iconic “Chicago” and “Shadow” colourways as a tribute to the OG.
Also known as the Union x Nike Jordan 1 "I'm Back", this Special Projects iteration features a crisp white leather underlay with Varsity Red overlays to pull off a classic colour blocking from ‘85. The ankle panel gets cloaked in muted grey shades as a nod to the “Shadow”. A woven “UN/LA” tag graces the lateral collar, complementing the embossed Wings logo. The yellow stitching delivers a pop of colour, a signature detail attributed to the streetwear brand. The Dreamcell insoles showcase a bit of storytelling, whilst the traditional Nike Air label decorates the nylon tongue. A sail white midsole offers a vintage touch, resting atop the red rubber cupsole. Encapsulated Nike Air in the heel provides long-lasting comfort and adequate cushioning.
