After taking on several Nike icons, Union LA resumes its Air Jordan 1 collaboration with a three-way alliance, adding Union LA founder Chris Gibbs’ wife, Beth Birkett’s Bephies Beauty Supply fashion line, into the mix. This women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 LV8D High joins the Air Jordan 1 High in this two-pack collab, revolving around the couple’s “Summer 96” project, the year they fell in love. The Air Jordan 1 Elevate High x Union LA x Bephies Beauty Supply "Summer of '96" incorporates signature design elements from the 1996 Nike Air Footscape Woven for a summer-ready makeover.

While this collaboration divides fans’ opinions, this marks the first team-up between three fashion brands to commemorate Chris Gibbs and Beth Birkett’s love story. Maintaining a similar construction to its AJ1 High counterpart, this women’s exclusive shoe features a white leather upper with sail-white woven textures inspired by the Air Footscape Woven across the lower panel beneath the teal-coloured Swoosh. Yellow UN/LA tags adorn the collar, complementing the orange Jordan Wings logo. Teal stitching adorns the lower collar as an additional design cue. The elevated platform midsole comes in a sail white shade for a vintage-inspired look, while the gum rubber sole delivers the finishing touches.
