The legendary Air Jordan series celebrates its 40th anniversary with the special-edition Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air". The franchise, formed by Nike during MJ’s rookie season, changed the sports and fashion industries forever, helping bridge the gap between performance and lifestyle to develop well-rounded athletic shoes. Aside from the milestone, this limited-edition AJ4 commemorates the 20th anniversary of the “Laser” series, which launched in ‘05.

This colourway boasts a black leather upper covered in meticulous laser-etched storytelling details from heel to toe. The plastic netting on the sidewalls and support wings maintain a discreet appearance. Meanwhile, the grey lace cage and TPU heel panel contrast the otherwise blacked-out base. Nike branding adorns the rear, a nod to the OG styles from ‘89. A detachable red Jumpman Flight logo patch adorns the tongue, revealing a “Rare Air” branding underneath. The all-black PU midsole carries a visible bubble in the heel for adequate cushioning and shock absorption. A grey and blue rubber outsole sits underfoot, capping off the exclusive design.
