Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Baroque Brown

After several occasional releases in the last few years, Nike’s going full throttle in delivering new and OG colourways of NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley’s signature shoe. While the ‘80s was considered the golden age of basketball, it was during the ‘90s when Nike’s basketball department started to set itself apart from other brands. Aside from the Air Jordan signature line, Charles Barkley’s long list of basketball models composed of unofficial and official signature shoes headlined the decade. This Nike Air Max2 CB 94 “Baroque Brown” gets decked out with autumn-ready shades of brown and beige to celebrate the silhouette’s comeback.

Built to contain a powerful and dominant player like Sir Charles, this silhouette flaunts a heavy-duty upper featuring several support straps wrapped around the leather base, with teeth-like outriggers for stability. Air Max2 technology infuses varying pressures on the visible Air Max unit in the heel to achieve the right balance of bounce and support essential for high-flying athletes. This colourway boasts a beige nubuck leather base with dark brown overlays to complement the autumn palette. Sail white accents adorn the tongue, internal collar, and teeth-like midsole for consistency. The visible Air Max in the heel comes in red, while the multidirectional rubber outsole has a black shade to wrap up this ‘90s basketball classic.
