After a long period of various teases and leaks, Drake’s debut silhouette finally saw a public release in March 2022. While at first sneakerheads were hesitant to adopt the new silhouette, it seems people have finally warmed to the shoe. Now the Hot Step has already seen the usual black and white treatment, the Swoosh is ready to pop open the bottle with this new “Champagne” colourway.
Sticking to the monochromatic scheme, this edition of the Nike Hot Step Air Terra keeps it classy and once again lets the silhouette do the talking. The upper is still clad in textured leather, with the 3M vent holes on the side panelling more noticeable than ever before. Underfoot we have got one of the shoe’s coolest features which is G-TEK. This sole traction system was inspired by Mountain Goats and initially designed for ACG shoes in the early 2000s. To get sneakerheads even more excited about the Hot Step Air Terras, an icy sole has been added to below. The heel support and mini-Swoosh have been given a metallic finish in a dark gold colourway, further adding to the prestigious feel of having these on feet. Located on the tongue, the three arrows that form the NOCTA Insignia remain the only sign of co-branding on the outside of the shoe.
If you want to bag a pair of these NOCTA Nike Hot Step Air Terra’s in the “Champagne” colourway then make sure you tune into The Sole Supplier for regular updates and info.
