Fans of the low profile basketball sneak don’t have long to wait for the Nike Kobe 11 Sunset. It’s an aptly named design for a shoe which commemorates the final moments of Kobe Bryant’s career. As the sun began to set on 20 years of mastery, many fans were left wondering about the future of Kobe’s footwear. Thankfully, although you’ll no longer find the superstar at LA’s Staples Center, his heritage and passion for creating innovative basketball sneaks continues.
This pair showcases a gradient design which looks especially good across the synthetic upper. From the toe, a vibrant shade of orange transitions to red at the sidewall and through to purple at the heel. It looks summer-ready and makes for a colourful addition to the range.
As you would expect from the Kobe 11, the performance features are impressive. Laser cut perforated holes give maximum breathability while integrated laces promise that lockdown fit. A leather tongue features in black and a set of tonal wax laces are included. To finish, a translucent outsole sits underfoot and Kobe branding comes stamped to the tongue tab.
The Nike Kobe 11 Sunset is scheduled to release on Saturday 18th June via the retailers on the right hand side.
