The iconic Nike Kobe signature sneaker returns for the first time since 2016. This updated version brings more cushioning technology and a revamped tongue for the new generation of basketball players. The full-length Lunarlon drop-in midsole provides low-profile cushioning that does not sacrifice speed. A carbon fibre plate on the midfoot delivered superior support during takeoffs. This new Nike Kobe 8 Protro updates the cushioning with a React drop-in midsole, replacing the now-defunct Lunarlon foam. A Zoom Air unit is also added inside the heel for more impact protection. Braille details return on the rear midsole, a signature feature of most Nike Kobe sneakers.

This colourway gives the Kobe 8 an all-white treatment. It has an engineered mesh base, fuse overlays on the mudguard, embroidered Swooshes, and a leather tongue. Kobe’s signature adorns the lateral heel counter, while the Kobe sheath logos comprise the tongue, heel, and lateral outsole.
