Nike’s MX-720-818 Black Magma is one of the label’s latest hybrid silhouettes, combining instantly-recognisable elements from both the Air Max 720 and the Air Max 98 - both iconic models in their own right.
The upper is crafted from a comfortable quilted canvas and showcases the AM98’s iconic lacing system, alongside a yellow embroidered Swoosh logo on the toe box, a red and yellow logo-branded pull tab at the tongue and iridescent panels at the heel. This is all topped off with futuristic-looking digital branding depicting the model name across the tongue tab.
All this is housed on top of the incredible Air sole unit that was developed specifically for use on the AM720, which is actually the tallest ever sole produced by Nike. It’s cushioned furthermore with padded insoles and ankle support to ensure optimum comfort over extended periods of wear. They’re a cosy-fitting shoe, and we recommend staying true to size for the best fit here.
