An initiative that launched in 2004, the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital x Nike collections fulfil young patients’ dreams by allowing them to design an entire colourway of their favourite Nike style. This year, six lucky kids have created one of the most vibrant, unique ranges of the brand’s 15-year history while contributing to an almost $24mil charity effort.
This year’s Doernbecher collection features a Zoon Janoski by Desiree Castillo, a React Element 55 by Kahleah Corona, an Air Jordan 14 by Ethan Ellis, an Air Max Triax 96 by Bransen Fernando, a Pegasus Turbo 2 by Sawyer Miller and finally, an Air Force 1 by Zion Thompson.
Some of the silhouettes, like Thompson’s pink floral Air Force 1, have offered fans a closer look with an early set of official imagery. While some – like the Jumpman silhouette – are keeping fans guessing. Landing at Nike’s webstore and selected stores on 7th December, we know we’re going to cop every pair. Are you?
