Arguably the most anticipated release this year, we’ve now got an on-foot look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Reimagined” ahead of a November release date. The sneakers offer up the highly-sought-after OG colourway of the AJ1 that consists of red, white and black colour blocking. Allegedly based on the 1994 Chicago release, this reimagined version showcases vintage details and pre-aged materials.
The uppers look set to be crafted from supple leather, with select panels displaying cracked details similar to how a 1994 pair would appear now if seen in the wild. Key details include Swoosh logos on either side, the wings logo on the collar and Nike Air embroidery on the tongues.
Padded ankles and perforated toe boxes finish the uppers, while a slightly-yellowed midsole conceals full-length Nike Air cushioning to ensure these are comfortable both on and off the court. A red outsole completes the look and comes in clutch with an aged look, emphasising the retro details once again. A vintage-inspired Nike shoe box complete this Jordan 1's true 1985 aesthetic.
As it stands, this pair is due to release on the 19th November, although be aware that this could be subject to change at any time.
