There's no doubt that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Light Smoke Grey" is one of the most anticipated AJ1s of the season. First unveiled last month, the summer-ready shade infuses the classic and contemporary, resulting in a colourway that both old school and new school sneakerheads can appreciate.

Working on an ultra clean white leather base, this is very subtly contrasted with light grey suede panelling that graces the toe box and heel, resulting in an aesthetic that can be compared to the legendary Dior x Air Jordan 1 High. Stealthy black Nike Swoosh logos hit the lateral and medial sides, while the iconic winged basketball also makes a comeback, finely debossed along the ankle portion.
Speaking of which, the ankle has been dipped in a striking red hue. While this has been pretty controversial especially amongst Air Jordan 1 purists, we welcome the addition of a bold tone, especially on an colourway as understated as this one.
Expected to launch on July 11th, who knows what the world will look like by then, but we know for certain that the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Light Smoke Grey" will still be an insta cop! Will you be grabbing a pair this summer? Let us know, and while you're here, get up close and personal with the Japan-exclusive Air Jordan 1 High OG "Neutral Grey"!
