A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 10 “Wings”
Inspired by Michael Jordan himself, the Air Jordan 10 “Wings” is here to push the Wings collection back into the limelight. Set to be as limited as the Air Jordan 12 – originally designed in 1996 with the help of Tinker Hatfield – this iteration of the AJ10 uses premium fabrics and modern accents to create a shoe that’s worth queueing to cop.
Crafted from textured leather, the upper on this pair is contrasted with a band-on-trend silver metallic side and pink underlays that subtly peek out. The wavy midsole adds a retro element and the gum outsole delivers on grip and bounce. Finished with the brand’s instantly recognisable Jumpman logo, this Air Jordan 10 “Wings” comes nicely rounded off with a “Wings” logo tab to the side.
Making more of a statement than the aforementioned AJ12, this design is futuristic but doesn’t sacrifice the details that encourage feelings of nostalgia – like the logos and shape of the midsole. The white colourway makes it wearable and the expert composition ensures that they will last.
