The Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Pack” Purple has continued to make the headlines this week after popping up last month and having fans eagerly anticipating a release ever since. Originally teased via avid sneakerhead DJ Khaled’s Instagram account, the four pack of clean AJ4 models is based on the OG Metallic Pack that featured AJ1’s all the way back in 1985.
This time around, LA-based retailer Sneaker Politics has given us an in-depth look at the purple edition of the upcoming AJIV, and boy does it look clean! Tumbled leather is the primary fabric used across the upper, giving it an instant luxury feel, and the metallic purple details really give it a pop! The Jumpman logo at the tongue looks better than ever, and quite frankly it’s safe to say that we’re loving these!
The all-white look is continued down-below, with the rubber midsole unit encasing that elusive Nike Air unit that offers all the stability and support we know and love. Jordan Brand really are nailing it so far in 2020, and we’re sure that there's going to be significant hype around these!
If you’re looking to pick up the AJ4 Metallic Purple, it’s looking like they’re going to be a US-only release for the time being. That said, the other colourways are said to be arriving this side of the pond soon! Keep checking back at The Sole Supplier for all the latest as it unfolds. While you’re here, check out the AJ3 SE “Animal Instinct” that’s dropping this week!
