A Closer Look at the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "New York City"

After getting a very brief glimpse last week, we're now taking a closer look at the hotly anticipated KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "New York City"! Inspired by the Big Apple, this serves as Ronnie Fieg's third take on the iconic AF1, but with a completely different aesthetic that mirrors Manhattan's magnificent metropolis.

Featuring a stealthy all-black leather upper, the "New York City" has been injected with pops of "Team Orange" and "Rush Blue" throughout resulting in a somewhat patriotic look. Glossy Nike Swooshes shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while a gradient effect has been applied to the tongue co-branding.

"NYC" is finely embroidered at the heel, and down below you'll find an icy rubber outsole that brings everything together. As a finishing touch, a metallic gold dubrae ties rounds it all off, finalising the simple yet striking Air Force 1 collab.

According to the rumour mill, the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "NYC" is expected to drop sometime this autumn, though this has yet to be officially confirmed. If it's anything like the "Tokyo" that launched earlier this summer, this will probably exclusive to New York.
