A Closer Look at the Nike SB Dunk High "Doraemon"

The Nike SB Dunk High "Doraemon" is dropping just around the corner and we're taking our best look yet. Sure to make any sneakerhead feel nostalgic, it's inspired by Doraemon - one of the most iconic manga series ever made. Whether or not you've had the pleasure of reading or watching this franchise back in the day, there's absolutely no doubt that this shoe is going to be popular amongst SB fans.

Arriving in a red, white, and blue colour palette just like the comic's time-traveling cat, the "Doraemon" features an ultra premium construction that combines leather and suede together. A bold red Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels to represent the title character's collar, and this is complemented with a yellow tongue tag that's a nod to his bell.

While you won't see it in these official images, this Dunk also features a velcro-fastened pocket that's hidden behind the tongue. Inspired by Doraemon's stomach pouch in which has the ability to satisfy all wishes, this is a shoe that pretty much has it all.
