A Closer Look At The Upcoming Nike Air Max 90 Mix Tape 'Side A'

Throw it back to the good old days and put on some old school tracks for this upcoming sneaker release that'll brighten up your rotation. The Nike Air Max 90 Side A from the upcoming Mix Tape pack is taking us right back to the '90s, incorporating unique features on to this iconic silhouette.

The clean, white mesh base is overlayed with off white, tonal panels that create the classic Air Max 90 look. Hints of lemon yellow add a touch of contrast, enhancing the detailing on the shoe. A yellow Swoosh decorates the side wall, layered under a soft touch, off white side panel that works across the length of the shoe, framing the Air Max branding at the heel.

Every inch of this shoe has been updated with an added touch of detail. Under the two-tone yellow and white laces, the tongue features the shoes unique name, 'Side A', the colour palette, and the manufacturing information, as well as making reference to the RPM of a record. Underfoot, a roughly written out tracklist is visible under a translucent sole, blurred by the ridged texture that provides premium traction.

Oversized stitched detailing joins the mudguard and mesh heel together, whilst a pastel yellow Nike Air motif sits overlayed onto a plastic heel cap. Of course, the iconic visible Air sole provides a soft, cushioned landing for an extra comfy ride.
