Kanye West's 350 V2 has pretty much remained unchanged since its debut in 2016, so naturally, he's going to want to try something new - that's where the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Light" comes in. While UV-reactive sneakers is certainly nothing new, executed masterfully by pairs such as the Civilist x Nike SB Dunk Low and the South Park x adidas Campus 80s, this is the first time that Ye has worked on his very own one, and we're now taking a much closer look!
First leaked earlier this year, the aptly named "Light" may look like several hundred other Yeezy colourways but there is more than meets the eye. With a clean cream Primeknit upper and soft yellow detailing throughout, a monofilament mesh stripe shoots across the lateral side panel while thick rope laces tie everything together. A see-through pull tab features around the heel, already hinting that this is not just any old release.
While it may look pretty clean in normal condition, as soon as this 350 comes in contact with UV vibrant purple accents begin to appear across the knit. The stipe also transforms into a darker yellow too, perfectly complementing the adidas Boost midsole underfoot.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Light" is a first for Kanye and it definitely won't be the last. Rumoured to drop on August 21st, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop! Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair, and check out the latest Yeezy sneaker releases here! In related news, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Blue Tint" is getting a major restock!
