When rumours of the Yeezy 500 High first surfaced back in August, we didn't know what to expect. While a high top Desert Rat definitely sounds pretty cool on paper, we weren't too sure how the intricate design would work on a larger upper. After just over two months of speculation, we're now taking a much closer look thanks to the Kardashians!
Dubbed 'Slate', a very early version of this colourway leaked all the way back in 2018, so we're glad that it's finally seeing the light of day albeit in a completely different form. Featuring the unique 500 design that we've all come to love, it switches out the usual mesh materials with a water resistant neoprene, kind of like the upcoming 'Stone'. The rest of the upper is crafted from suede, while taping surrounds the mudguards for a pretty sleek look.

Down below, you'll be greeted with an extra chunky adiPRENE unit that's dipped in a 'Blush' tone. This is engraved with a distinctive grid pattern, and then infused with anti-marking tech so you won't scuff up any floors.
What's there not to love about the Yeezy 500 High 'Slate'? Giving the low top shoe a striking rework, it's set to drop sometime in December of this year, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair in your collection!
