A Detailed Look at the Upcoming Yeezy x GAP Engineered by Balenciaga 2.0 Collection

Due to the Uvalde, Texas tragedy earlier this week, Yeezy x GAP Engineered by Balenciaga is now set to release tomorrow instead. The Yeezy x GAP website was updated with the following message yesterday - “IN LIGHT OF THE TRAGEDY IN UVALDE, TEXAS, WE ARE POSTPONING THE YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA LAUNCH UNTIL FRIDAY, MAY 27 AT 6AM PST / 9AM EST. AS WE PAUSE, OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO THE FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES IMPACTED."

This latest collection builds on February's creative link-up between Kanye West and Balenciaga lead Demna Gvasalia with a selection of subdued and oversized looks. Included, we see outerwear pieces, hoodies, tees, pants, hats and accessories, and of which showcase a familiar form to the previous lineup.

Highlights from the collection include a range of light-washed distressed denim styles completed with padded detailing. Elsewhere we see tonal printed hoodies and tees finished with the iconic GAP varsity-style print. As previously mentioned, this latest Yeezy x GAP Engineered by Balenciaga collection is now set to drop on Friday the 27th of May at 14:00 GMT.
