After getting a sneak peek at the Yeezy Boost 380 "Blue Oat" last month, we're now taking our first look at a Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Israfil" that we've actually never seen before. Leaks courtesy of sneaker insider @anpkickz, here's everything that we know so far!
Featuring a unique blend of grey and yellow, this Yeezy boasts a full Primeknit upper that's decked out in a multi-pattern design, similar to the "Yecheil" and the "Zyon" that is supposedly dropping soon. A vibrant mesh stripe shoots across the laterals, and interestingly enough, Kanye's brand new "infinite" lacing system makes an appearance here.
First used on the Yeezy 700 MNVN, the new system can't actually be tied but it can be tightened by simply pulling on the cords. We're not sure how well this is going to go down with sneakerheads, but only time will tell. Of course, it wouldn't be a 350 V2 without a full length adidas Boost midsole. This has been painted in a clean grey colourway and lined with gum rubber for the perfect blend of comfort and traction.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Israfil" is unlike anything that we've seen before, and honestly, we're pretty hyped by the new direction that Ye is going. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and in related news, the controversial Yeezy Foam Runner could be dropping very soon!
