2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, and to celebrate this massive milestone, it looks like Jordan Brand is working on the Air Jordan 5 "What The"! A mish mash of some of the most iconic AJ5s ever made, this special edition shoe is unlike anything else out there, and we're taking a sneak peek thanks to these brand new shots from Retro Shop Paris!
With a buttery smooth suede construction, the right shoe is clearly inspired by the legendary "Tokyo 23", while the left one pays homage to the world-renowned "Raging Bull". Inside of each shoe, nods to the "Laser" and "Bel Air" can be found respectively, coming together for a crazy combination that surprisingly works pretty well.
The usual oversized tongue makes a comeback, and to round it all off, the "Tokyo" and the "Shanghai" logos are embroidered along the lateral sides of each pair, finalising the truly unique aesthetic that is made to turn heads.
If you're a massive fan of the Mustang fighter jet-influenced basketball shoe, then the Nike Air Jordan 5 "What The" is a definite must cop for your collection! Expected to hit shelves on November 7th, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! While you're here, you might as well get up close with the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Sail"!
