Edison Chen and Kevin Poon are going full steam ahead with their sneaker collaborations. Following a three-way partnership with sacai x Nike, the Chinese brand has now reunited with Jordan Brand once again for the CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low - and we're taking a sneak peek!
Unveiled by reputable sneaker insider @teddyssole, the Air Jordan 5 Low is done up in an all-black suede construction with a light green mesh panel on both the lateral and medial sides. Bold red hues adorn the inner sock liner, and this is complemented by the AJ5's signature toggle switch lacing system, also done up in red.
Down below you'll find a glowing green Nike Air midsole complete with speckled detailing, and if you look even closer you'll find that the eyelets are actually designed to mimic jade with is a pretty important mineral especially in Chinese culture. This is rounded off with CLOT's logo embroidered around the heel, as well as the Chinese characters for "2" and "3" - a nod to Michael Jordan's legendary jersey number.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the CLOT x Nike Air Jordan 5 Low "Black" at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this upcoming project, and in related news, the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred" has been officially announced as cancelled.
