After getting a very brief glimpse earlier this week, we're now taking a sneak peek at the brand new Off-White x Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5! First unveiled by Virgil Abloh himself at Coachella, sneakerheads everywhere have been scratching their heads about this silhouette, particularly because it's not exactly made for day-to-day use!
Images courtesy of sneaker insider @shawnlee1978, the Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 is dipped in an ultra clean 'Triple White' colourway with bright 'Volt' accents featuring throughout. Rope laces and suede eyestays give the shoe a trail-like aesthetic, while shimmering silver Swooshes on either side provide a look that's made to turn heads. The usual Off-White verbiage hits the medials too, while additional text hits the Zoom Air midsole.
Now, the reason why we said that these aren't exactly made for day-to-day use is because there are exaggerated traction grips down below that pay homage to track-dedicated shoes. This shouldn't come as a surprise as they are set to release as part of Virgil Abloh's "TRACK & FIELD"; collection, but it would be great if you could remove them.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Off-White x Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! What do you think of it? Will you be grabbing a pair? Let us know, and while you're here, take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
