The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 is no doubt one of Virgil Abloh's greatest creations. Throughout the past few years, the late fashion icon worked on a few colourways of the AF1, but none quite like the one that we're taking a look at today. Unveiled by ASAP Bari via Instagram Story, it looks like Abloh was working on an extra sustainable pair before his untimely passing in November.
Dropping the usual leather construction in favour of an environmentally-friendly upper, this bears a striking resemblance to the Space Hippie collection that's made from at least 75% recycled materials. Bright orange laces zig-zag across the Air Force 1 just like the latest Off-White x Nike Dunk collection.
Down below, a black and white speckled Air midsole offers an insane amount of comfort with every step, and to round it all off, a Nike Swoosh is haphazardly stitched onto the lateral and medial sides, offering up a DIY-inspired look.
Not much else us known about this Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops. Let us know what you think of this concept, and while you're here, we recently wrote an article on how the Off-White zip tie is more than just an accessory - check it out now!
