Picture this: The year is 1989 and adidas have just unleashed its first sneaker infused with Torsion technology. Providing game-changing support and stability, it was designed so that the forefoot and rearfoot move independently from one another, meaning runners can adapt to different surfaces without straining their feet. Fast forward thirty years, and the Three Stripes' Torsion tech is still going strong with the newly announced 'Thousands Pack'.
Comprising of four of their most iconic ZX models, including the ZX 5000, the ZX 6000, the ZX 7000, and the ZX 9000, they arrive in a wide selection of retro palettes that look like they've been snatched straight from the late '80s. Crafted from a combination of mesh, leather, and suede, the quartet is infused with Torsion technology, emphasised by the phrase “30 Years of Torsion”, which is embellished on the lace locks and insoles.
If you're interested in copping the adidas ZX 'Thousands Pack', then you've got to listen up! The ZX 5000 and ZX 6000 will be releasing on August 10th, while the ZX 7000 and ZX 9000 are scheduled to drop on August 24th and August 31st, respectively. The perfect way to celebrate a legendary technology, you really do not want to miss out!
