adidas Originals Officially Unveils Its BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD Sneaker Collaboration

Following a slew of leaks and teasers, adidas Originals has officially unveiled its BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD sneaker collaboration, and it's insanely fire. Comprising of two sneakers, this definitely deserves a spot in your collection!

The first sneaker builds on the adidas Originals NMD TS1. Dubbed the 'NHBAPE NMD STLT', it features a Primeknit upper for a versatile fit and is painted in a striking black and grey colourway. Doing away with any conventional lacing system, these sneakers adopt a cord lock approach that you'd normally find on backpacks and coats. A bold yellow lightning bolt motif shoots down the lateral and medial sides, and down below, a full length Boost midsole is present for additional comfort and a smoother stride.

The second sneaker, on the other hand, is based on the adidas Originals POD-S3.1. Named the 'NHBAPE', the shoe is doused in a monochromatic colour palette. BAPE's signature 1ST CAMO features throughout, with NEIGHBORHOOD's skull and crossbones mixed in. Co-branded detailing features throughout, while BAPE's iconic Shark Head motif graces the side panels.

The BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals NMD TS1 'NHBAPE NMD STLT' will release at BAPE retailers and Hoods HK on January 2nd. The BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals POD-S3.1 'NHBAPE' will then drop before January's end. Stay tuned for an exact release date for the latter.
