To celebrate Black History Month, adidas has unveiled a trio of themed silhouettes that pay homage to the Harlem Renaissance - the intellectual, social, and artistic explosion that took place in Harlem, New York around the 1920s.
Taking on the Dame 5, Harden Vol. 3, and of course, the Ultra Boost, all three models are doused in predominantly black hues with purple and orange accents added to the mix, inspired by the spirit of jazz that was normally celebrated in ballrooms at the time. This unique combination of colours is also influenced by Harlem's effortless connection with music and the game of basketball as cultural events were always held with flash and flair.
