adidas Readies Its Brand-New Selection of Italian International Football Kits

As of January 1st, adidas became the official partner of the Italian Football Federation, and in celebration, the 3-Stripe brand has now prepped a selection of all-new kits and pre-match garments. Celebrating the history of Italian football, these kits will pay homage to the Azzuri or "The Blues."

The Azzuri is the nickname of the Italian national side, and it dates back to the House of Savoia and its royal family who adopted a blue hue as their official colour. As a result, each piece included in this selection features some kind of blue hue, offering a fresh and distinctive appearance. Included in the selection, we see both home and away kits, with shirts, shorts and long sleeves all included.

The home kit dons an all-over Azzuri hue with a marble-like finish. Atop the shoulders, you'll note adidas' ever-iconic 3-Stripes motif as well as an "Italia" sign-off on the rear of the neck. Its away kit counterpart also dons a marble pattern but instead reps an off-white hue complete with blue detailing.
