The New Balance 327 has been dominating the lifestyle sneaker scene since 2020. As it continues to lead the charge throughout this year, adidas have now unleashed a worthy competitor with the adidas Retropy E5 "Solid Grey", and it's available to cop right now from retailers such as Offspring!
Heavily inspired by silhouettes of the past, the "Solid Grey" is the first of many colourways to grace the retro model. Bearing a striking resemblance to the I-5923 or the Iniki which was all the craze back in 2018 and 2019, this shoe features a light grey nylon base while buttery smooth suede panels grace the heel, lacing system, and toebox.
Thick serrated Three Stripes glide across the lateral and medial side panels, harkening back to sneakers such as the Samba and the Superstar, and down below, you'll find an adidas Boost midsole that's as comfortable as it gets. This is rounded off with a gum rubber outsole, which like the aforementioned 327, extends all the way to the back for a look that is sure to turn heads.
Available now from retailers like Offspring, the adidas Originals Retropy E5 "MGH Solid Grey" is the perfect lifestyle shoe for everyday wear. Let us know if you managed to secure your size, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the adidas Ultra 4D "Arizona State"!
