Frequent New Balance collaborative partner Aimé Leon Dore is back at it again, working with the Boston-based brand on a brand-new capsule. It’s no surprise that the two labels work in such a close manner with each other, as ALD’s founder Teddy Santis is also the creative director for NB’s Made in USA range, creating a rock-solid partnership. Posting an archive of images via his Instagram stories, Santis unveiled what looks to be three colourways of an upcoming New Balance 860v2, a running sneaker that first hit the market back in 2012. Crafted from lightweight mesh, the sneakers are depicted in three colourways, red, blue, and green.
Working on top of a cream-coloured mesh base, each pair gives way to coloured accents across the uppers, as well as gold leather detailing at the toe cap and heel. ALD branding hits the heel and tongue tabs, while NB's famed N logo hits the sidewalls. This all sits atop a comfy N-ergy sole unit - which is good to know, whether you're planning to run in them, or not.
For a chance to get your hands on this silhouette, head over to Aimé Leon Dore's website now to enter the raffle. In the meantime, check out this unreleased New Balance 650 from the duo.
