Even though the AJ4 celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, Jordan Brand just isn't holding back when it comes to the high heat releases - and that's where the Air Jordan 4 SE "Sashiko" comes in. Inspired by the traditional Japanese embroidery technique that's at least four centuries old, this colourway perfectly blends the past and the present, resulting in a must-have shoe that shouldn't be overlook.
Arriving in a "Deep Ocean" blue colourway, the upper is crafted from denim and decorated with a variety of prints and motifs. From grids to stars, these are all details that the ancient Japanese would've used on their own garments. You'll also find a pop of maroon as a beautiful pop of contrast that's sure to turn heads.
Moving down below, an ultra clean Nike Air midsole is present for comfort both on and off the court, and rounding it all off is a translucent rubber heel badge that's proudly embossed with the Jumpman logo, finalising the design.
While a release date for the Nike Air Jordan 4 "Deep Ocean" has yet to be confirmed, rumour has it that it'll be launching sometime in the autumn months. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection, and in related news, it looks like the Air Jordan 4 Retro "White Cement" from 2016 is making a comeback!
