Following the release of the "Top 3" last week, we're now taking an on-foot look at the long awaited Air Jordan 5 "Oregon Ducks Elevate". Set to kick off Jumpman's Fall 2020 line-up, this builds on one of the silhouette's most iconic colourways.
Decked out in nothing but buttery smooth suede, the AJ5's signature mesh panels hit the lateral and medial sides in black, while swathes of "Apple Green" make their way throughout the upper, just like the OG. Jumpman branding graces the thick oversized tongue, while a toggle switch lacing system gives the shoe a rugged look and feel.
While there's no "O" branding anywhere to be found, the yellow spikes along the P-51 Mustang-inspired Nike Air unit make it very clear that this is indeed an "Oregon" release. Additionally, the jock patches on the heels are taken straight from 2019's "Michigan" edition.
Expected to launch on September 12th, don't be surprised if the Nike Air Jordan 5 "Oregon Ducks Elevate" gets slightly delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection, and in related news, Hiroshi Fujiwara recently teased the fragment design x Jordan Air Cadence!
