After getting a very brief sneak peek last month, we're now taking an on-foot look at the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low "Chinese New Year"! Celebrating the Year of the Ox, this festive footwear is mismatched to perfection, so let's take our best look yet!
While CNY-inspired sneakers are certainly nothing new and groundbreaking, there's something about these Dunks that set it apart from the rest. With a watercolour painting-like design, the left shoe plays around with yellow and white brushstrokes, while the right one offers up a floral canvas that seamlessly nods to the theme.
Fuzzy suede graces the left while smooth leather hits the right, and the Nike Swooshes also differ from shoe to shoe as well. To round it all off, the Chinese character for "eat" is finely embroidered at the heel, rounding off the Lunar New Year sneaker.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the Nike SB Dunk Low "Chinese New Year" at this moment in time, but with Chinese New Year coming on February 12th, it's safe to assume that these will drop around then too. Let us know what you think of this special edition colourway, and in related news, the Nike SB Dunk Low "Court Purple" has been unveiled!
