An On-Foot Look at the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Tour Yellow"

What's there not to love about the upcoming sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Tour Yellow"? Just one of the four VaporWaffle colourways dropping this year, Chitose Abe's latest high heat hybrid is one that you need to see to believe. Taking the deconstructed aesthetic and completely turning it on its head, we're now taking an on-foot look thanks to these brand new shots from sneaker insider @repgod888!

Painted in a striking yellow and green palette, the "Tour Yellow" bears a striking resemblance to Nike's signature "Brazil" colourway. Working on a breathable Flyknit base, fuzzy suede makes its way to the toe box while smooth leather arrives at the heel for an extra premium finish. Along the lateral and medial side panels, you'll be presented with a duo of Swooshes, hinting at what's to come.

Like the Tokyo brand's other projects, everything from the tongue to the midsole has been doubled up. Speaking of which, the heel looks like it's about to peel off, resulting in what is probably the most controversial part of the shoe.
