With an imminent release scheduled for this weekend, we're now taking an on-foot look at the long-awaited Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III. One of the most exciting sneaker collaborations in a very long time, the Round Two co-founder first teased these all the way back in October of last year, and to say that we're beyond hyped is a true understatement.
Combining the sneaker cultures of both Los Angeles and Tokyo, this special release celebrates the 30th anniversary of the GEL-Lyte III. Done up completely in multicoloured corduroy as an ode to the American fashion designer's love of thrifting, it channels the same energy as the Nike Air Max 97/1 that he dropped two years ago.
Mismatched in nature, the right shoe opts for an orange and blue palette, while the left one is dipped in a purple and green combination that is sure to turn heads. That's not all though, as the iconic ASICS Tiger Stripes are attached using velcro and can be mix and matched depending on your mood. Coming in five different colours including black, yellow, blue, green, and red, you can pair these with the set of heel patches too.
Dropping alongside a vibrant collection of T-shirts and accessories, the highly coveted Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III is expected to drop this weekend on June 27th via the atmos webstore. Coming in full family sizes, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier and we'll let you know as soon as a European release is announced. Let us know what you think of this collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 "Super Earth"!
