Kanye West is shaking things up this season with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Mono Ice". Regarded as the biggest change to the 350 line since the "Beluga" back in 2016, the Yeezy team have completely transformed the silhouette from the ground up, and now, we're taking an on-foot look thanks to these sleek new shots from @yankeekicks!
Seen here in the "Mono Ice" colourway, this shoe does away with the classic Primeknit construction in favour of a newly developed mono filament materials that's used on the lateral stripes of current 350 V2 models. Showcasing an inner cage within, this gives the model a truly deconstructed aesthetic that's not been achieved by anyone before. As the material is a little flimsier than Primeknit, the laces loop around a series of matte plastic eyelets that give the shoe added structure and support.
The back is adorned with the beloved pull tab that mirrors the one found on the "Friends & Family" pair that we saw last year, and down below, an adidas Boost midsole is present for comfort and cushioning that continues to crush the competition even half a decade later.
Set to drop alongside three others including the "Mono Mist", the "Mono Cinder", and the "Mono Clay", the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Mono Ice" will hit shelves on June 21st - just in time for the sizzling summer months. Let us know which colourway you're feeling the most, and while you're here, you might as well get fired up for the Yeezy 500 "Enflame"!
