Another Casablanca x New Balance 327 Is On the Way
Without a shadow of a doubt, the Casablanca x New Balance 327 was one of 2020's hottest collaborations. Made in partnership with the Parisian label, it looks like another collection may just be in the works, and here's our first look yet!
Unveiled by the brand's art director Steve Grimes, the upcoming collab takes on the retro-futuristic 327 silhouette in a way that's never been done before. With a clean white perforated leather upper, light grey suede descends upon the eyestays, while metallic gold aglets make their way to the laces for an extra premium vibe. An oversized "N" graces the lateral side, while additional branding from the Boston-based company is finely embroidered at the heel.
Of course, you can't talk about this New Balance collab without mentioning the intricate monogram pattern that was originally used in Casablanca's Fall/Winter 2020 collection. As well as that, Grimes also unveiled a never-before-seen New Balance 237 that retains the same retro aesthetic but in a more minimal package.
Not much else is known about the Casablanca x New Balance 327, but it's expected to launch sometime at the start of 2021. Let us know what you think of this upcoming release, and while you're here, you might as well secure these 10 limited edition New Balance 327s before it's too late!
