Around this time last month, we got our first look at the upcoming "Red Tie Dye". A psychedelic take on the legendary basketball shoe, they were pretty trippy to say the least. With that said, it looks like another colourway is in the works as close up shots of the Nike Dunk High "Tie Dye", and to be honest, we don't know which pair we love the most.
If you didn't much about Dunks, you'd probably assume that the "Tie Dye" was a vintage pair from the '80s or '90s. Working on top of a soft yellow base which looks like it's aged over time, a black and white tie-dye motif graces the rest of the panelling. This is contrasted with stark black laces and a Swoosh that shoots across the lateral and medial side panels.
The retro theme is carried through to the midsole down below. Dipped in a yellow hue, it really does look like this is a shoe that's been around for a while. A pull tab graces the heel while Nike branding can be found on the tongue tag, finalising the design.
Set to drop later this year, rumour has it that the Nike Dunk High "Tie Dye" will be part of a much wider collection of trainers. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High!
