Skepta is on fire. With his Nike Shox TL 'Bloody Chrome' scheduled to drop in just two days time, rumour has it that the legendary grime artist is already working on his next collaboration with the Swoosh, and here's everything that we know so far!
According to sneaker insider @pyleaks, the British MC will be taking on the classic Nike Air Tailwind 5. A silhouette that's honestly not that well-known among the community, it made its debut back in 2000 and it is regarded by many as a cult classic. Only a few examples of the shoe can be found online, with the OG colourway, pictured below, being the most popular.
According to the rumours, Skepta's version will be painted in a 'Black/Chrome' palette - a colourway that has become synonymous with the 'Ignorance Is Bliss' artist. To add to this, it'll retail for $180 which converts to around £150 a pop, which really isn't too bad for a high heat collab.
Scheduled to launch sometime in Spring 2020, the Skepta x Nike Air Tailwind 5 is the perfect way to celebrate the Nike model's twentieth anniversary. Pretty much nothing else is known at the moment, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more info as it develops!
*LEAK ALERT*: The next shoe in the @Nike x @Skepta series will be the Air Tailwind V. The shoe will drop in a Black/Chrome colorway and is expected to drop in Spring 2020.<br /> Please RT & Follow for more info on future drops.#NoMoreSecrets ? pic.twitter.com/rrRU1b1ovk
