After joining forces with Japanese contemporary brand BEAMS last month for a "Black & Gold" capsule, Arc'teryx is back and continuing on with its plans to dominate the outdoor clothing world. The brand has now opened Europes first Arc'type store that focuses on the brand's most iconic and technical silhouettes.
Based in London's iconic location of Covent Garden, the store accompanies the existing Picadilly Circus flagship that exists just a stone's throw away. The Arc'type store itself is considered a micro store and only stocks 22 of the brand's signature and storied designs including outerwear pieces such as the Alpha SV, Cerium LT and Therme Parka.
Upon entering the micro store, you'll realise things aren't quite as small as the name suggests. The doors give way to a large open floor with Arc'teryx's signature designs adorned across a variety of wooden structures on the outer edges. Climbing harnesses and cables are dotted around the perimeter alongside several "The best solutions keep you warm" posters, further enhancing the outdoor theme of the store.
The store is set to open on September 4th and is located at 49 Long Acre, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 9LN. In other news, The CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Orange Blaze" is dropping much sooner than expected.
