At this point we’ve lost count of Bad Bunny’s collaborations with adidas, and we’ve just gotten another one to add to the long list. This time round, the Puerto Rican artist has reimagined one of adidas Football’s most cult speed franchises, the adidas F50.
The adidas x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint is a low-profile silhouette based on the 2004 F50 “Spider” cleat, and taking inspiration from the wolf spider, a species native to Puerto Rico, known for its insane sprinting speed.
The lifestyle shoe layers technical and sporty elements to its design, featuring an “Araña” cage for flexible stability and breathability, with a deconstructed 3D air mesh – designed for the Puerto Rican heat, but you know we’ll be grabbing a pair of these come next British heatwave, too.
The Blue colourway is a reimagined iteration of the 2004 “Ocean”, which included a tonal palette of blues and light purple. And there is also a neon yellow colourway releasing soon.
The adidas Originals x Bad Bunny F50 Ghost Sprint Blue will be dropping July 18th on the adidas Confirmed app.
