Though many of us will think straight away of its meme-like creations, collections just like this one just go to show Demna's Balenciaga has still got what it takes to be at the top. In this new campaign, Balenciaga has looked to the archives to produce a selection of stylish garments bearing its classic BB monogram pattern.
The BB Monogram pattern itself was first seen during the brand's '90s collections, sporting a stretched-out double "B" complete with diagonal detailing for an interlaced appearance. Using rotary print technology, Balenciaga has applied this classic print atop hoodies, T-Shirts, shorts, caps and even socks, offering a nostalgic and evocative approach to luxury wear.
This pattern has been used amongst other designs in an intimate portrait-styled editorial. Featured, we see familiar faces and brand ambassadors such as Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, all shot in intimate settings by Stef Mitchell.
For those looking to get their hands on these Balenciaga BB Monogram pieces, they are currently available on the brand's website for purchase. In other fashion news, Stone Island uncovers its FW22 Icon Imagery collection.
