If you're a fan of A Bathing Ape then the brand new BAPE BLACK x Reebok sneaker collection is right up your street. While this certainly isn't the first time that the Japanese streetwear brand has worked with the British footwear label, it does mark the first time they've done so through their ultra luxurious BAPE BLACK division, and here's what you need to know.
Taking on two of Reebok's most iconic silhouettes, including the Aztrek 96 and Electrolyte, the former is crafted from a nylon mesh and leather construction, while the latter places a huge emphasis on camo jacquard.
Both styles are then decked out with co-branded detailing as well as the signature BAPESTAR motif that's been around for decades. You'll also find an abundance of silver accents throughout, accentuating the range's opulent aesthetic.
In terms of a release date, the BAPE BLACK x Reebok sneaker collection will drop over at the Mastermind vs A Bathing Ape store in Hong Kong, Dover Street Market Beijing, and the Shinjuku Isetan pop-up store on February 12th - that's less than a month from now. An international release isn't on the cards just yet, so make sure you keep it locked just in case Nigo changes his mind.
Let us know what you think of this exclusive collection, and while you're here, take a sneak peek at the Human Made x adidas Stan Smith!
