Chances are if you grew up in the '90s or early 2000s, you're going to have a really big soft spot for Pokémon. First debuting on our TV and Gameboy screens back in '96, Pokémon fever soon after swept the world due to its lovable stable of characters and motifs, and even to this day, the media franchise is still a worldwide phenomenon. In celebration of the OG franchise, Pokémon x The Hundreds have now joined forces for a distinctive apparel collection.
As any die-hard fan will tell you, in the beginning there were only 151 Pokémon, few of which actually went on to be fan favourites. This collection encapsulates some of the best OG Pokémon across a selection of stylish silhouettes. Included, we see letterman jackets, cardigans, hoodies, sweats, tees, and socks, each with bold colours and various branding.
Leading the collection is the letterman jacket, a varsity-styled piece that flaunts bright blue, yellow and white hues. In addition, this piece also features an array of embroidered Pokémon on both the chest and sleeves, including Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Cubone. Elsewhere, other designs simply showcase the iconic yellow Pokémon logo or prints of MewTwo and more.
For those looking to get their hands on this Pokémon x The Hundreds collection, it is scheduled to launch on December 8th via The Hundreds webstore. In other fashion news, sacai x Nike put their focus back on apparel.
