David Beckham and adidas have reunited to deliver a new signature take on the Predator 25, a boot that feels like it's been immersed in the colours of Miami. This special release marks the second time one of the most celebrated Predator players of all time has put his mark on the soccer boot.
Beckham has a strong connection to both the Predator and the colour pink. Tapping into his footballing past, this new release brings together these two powerful motifs in the perfect way. While officially called "Beam Pink/Core Black/Ftwr White," the colours serve as Beckham’s tribute to his history of wearing pink boots. It connects to his time in the MLS, his long standing history with the Predator, and a deeply personal moment in his life. The boot's design is striking. A soft, pastel beam pink covers the upper, fading into a subtle light blue where it meets the edge of the sole. A gentle white fade climbs from the soleplate, evoking the bright sunrise over a Miami beach. The classic black Three Stripes make a striking statement, and the fold over tongue features Beckham’s signature branding, a detail also found on the insoles.
The meaning behind the colours runs deep. Beckham first wore pink Predators back in 2011 to celebrate the birth of his daughter, Harper. That sentiment is revisited here in a more refined palette, where the soft pink and delicate blue draw directly from the colours of his Inter Miami club, bringing his past and present together. This boot is a significant marker in his ongoing story.
Sam Handy, adidas's GM of Football, shared his thoughts: "Subsequent to the successful launch of the adidas x David Beckham Originals Predator last year, we wanted to follow it up with an equally as iconic drop, but this time with a clear focus on adidas’ and David’s Predator heritage. The pink and white colourway pays homage to some of David’s most iconic Predator boots from his MLS playing days, while also serving as a fitting tribute to the city of Miami. Landing in the latest Predator 25 model, it’s the perfect combination of luxury and performance, and we can’t wait to see it being worn on-pitch by some of the biggest names in Football.”
David Beckham added: "When it came to designing this boot, I knew straight away it had to be pink. The pink design isn’t just a colour choice, it’s a statement - it’s having the confidence to stand out from the crowd. This boot, and the sneaker, inspired by my love of Miami, bring together performance, style and my personal taste and I’m excited for it to finally be released.”
For Beckham, the Predator has been a consistent presence throughout his professional life and is a key part of his personal story. The new beam pink edition continues this legacy, following the Predator 24 signature model from last year, which was notable for being the first Predator to include the Trefoil logo.
Beckham's influence on the sport's style has been as significant as his cultural impact, a journey that began at Old Trafford and now extends to his position as an MLS club owner. The adidas Predator 25 ‘Beckham’ represents the next phase of that story. With its striking design and clear heritage, the boot will be impossible to ignore on the pitch. A roster of top adidas athletes, including Pedri, Alessia Russo, Myles Lewis Skelly, Rodrigo De Paul, Éder Militão, and Aitana Bonmati, is set to wear the new model.
This limited edition boot is scheduled for release on the 19th of August 2025, with a price of £250. It will be available through the adidas CONFIRMED app and at selected UK retailers like ProDirect Sport. Given the limited numbers, you’ll want to set up a reminder to be ready for the launch.
